MLS and NWSL start seasons strong with WIT Experiences

MLS and NWSL regular seasons have officially kicked off and they’re captivating fans in major ways with WIT.

MLS kicked off in late February with WIT partners’ fans champing at the bit to enter Kit Reveal Scratch-N-Wins, classic jersey tosses, and so much more! 

The Columbus Crew took fans back in time with a nostalgic Goosebumps Jersey Toss, where one lucky fan won a themed jersey signed by Goosebumps author R.L. Stine himself! Promoted on social media and in person via QR code, this well-executed theme caught the eyes of quite a number of eager fans.

Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union, Nashville SC, and Seattle Sounders FC ran ‘Kit Toss’ Sweepstakes and Instant Win Games offering fans the chance to win brand-new 2025 jerseys. Highlighting Orlando’s new home jersey, the Union’s ‘Voltage’ kit, the ‘Heart of Nashville’ secondary kit, and the Sounders’ ‘Salish Sea’ kit, these activations did double duty building hype for the season while promoting new gear.

D.C. United also got in on the jersey joy by unveiling and giving away a new ‘Soul’ jersey, revealed for all through a Scratch-N-Win experience presented by GuideHouse. WIT has seen several innovative uses of the Scratch-N-Win this year, with Sporting Kansas City revealing their FirstTeam partners and the Portland Timbers asking fans to ‘scratch off’ a wood log.

Another interesting WIT utilization was brought by the Colorado Rapids, debuting a ‘Jersey Details Ranking’ Vote-to-Win. This activation invited fans to rank their favorite details of the new uniform for the chance to win a jersey of their own.

With MLS off and running by March, NSWL kicked off their own regular season with incredible experiences for their fans to get in on the fun as well.

The Seattle Reign graced supporters with the chance to win exclusive gear in a fun Kit Toss while the Orlando Pride Fan Wall invited fans to share a ‘Favorite Pride Memory’ photo for a shot at winning a 2025 replica home jersey. Meanwhile, Angel City FC flew into action with their own Fan Walls showcasing submissions on the videoboard via WIT’s built-in integration. They also ran a USA-Canada Fan Map inviting fans from both nations to check in (sharing where they watched the match) for the chance to win a jersey, highlighting even more locations of supporters tuning in. In addition, the team launched a Slot Machine, a Matchups challenge allowing fans to predict the winner for a chance to win tickets, and a Vote-to-Win selecting the song to be played when Angel City scored their first goal...WHEW!
