To celebrate Halloween (& Howl-O-Ween), several partners utilized WIT to encourage fan participation in spooky season festivities.
Our friends at the Michigan Panthers, Cleveland Monsters, Ottawa Senators, and Nashville Predators all launched Costume Contest Fan Walls for supporters of all ages to share their creative Halloween costumes and team spirit for the chance to win merch, tickets, and other exclusive prizes.
The St. Louis Blues and Capital City Go-Go also got in on the seasonal fun, both launching pumpkin carving Fan Walls with personal twists. The Go-Go designed and shared a PDF of brand-themed stencils to inspire fan creativity, and the Blues will feature their Top 3 Jack-O-Lanterns on social media when the activation concludes!
Wellness Pet let the dogs (and cats) out with a month-long ‘Trick or Treat Them Well’ Fan Wall for pet parents, inviting a deluge of adorable photos featuring costumed furry friends. With three categories - Dogs, Cats, and Pet Parents - these fang-tastic submissions had us shrieking in delight.
Last but certainly not least, the Omaha Supernovas, Buffalo Sabres, and Carolina Hurricanes all ran Sweepstakes activations encouraging participation around Halloween-themed events. Supernovas fans entered to win team tumblers, Sabres supporters crossed their fingers for a black and red jersey, and Canes backers put their names in the hat for tickets to see them take on the Bruins tonight, Halloween Night!
We loved bringing these Halloween activations to life and seeing all of the clever costumes, creative carvings, and wicked joy these seasonal experiences brought to fans across North America!
