Members of the WIT team gathered in Toronto last weekend to see all of the action throughout NHL All-Star weekend.
From Feb. 1-3, the NHL took over the city with fan fairs, skills challenges and, of course, the All-Star game itself.
WIT Founder & CEO Vaidhy Murti met with Toronto residents Lolu Balogun and Jake Levy from our engineering team as they toured the city and took in all the sights and sounds.
Murti and crew also got the chance to experience the NHL All-Star Scavenger Hunt, presented by Enterprise and created by WIT.
Custom hockey pucks around the Fan Fair exhibitions and ScotiaBank Arena used QR codes to direct fans into the scavenger hunt experience. They then had the opportunity to take selfies at each of the seven iconic locations around Toronto for chances to win daily prizes, including tickets to each of the weekend’s marquee events, NHL Shop gift codes, and more.
The scavenger hunt product is a great way for teams and brands to activate around big events in a city or venue and drive foot traffic to brand or partner locations. The WIT activation has tons of versatility, allowing teams to choose from a photo upload, text clue input, or QR code scan at each scavenger hunt location.
Sponsors and brands can be integrated with unique prompts that drive engagement at brick and mortar locations and provide offers for real-time purchases and actions.
The best part? It’s incredibly easy to set up via WIT’s award-winning service team.
